Whilst the common phrase tells us that dogs are mans best friends, we are also told that ‘diamonds are a girls best friend’. You could say that this is true, as pretty much every women will happily admit to loving diamonds, particularly hen they come in two’s, three’s or more! They are just so beautiful and twinkly that they are irresistible to women. They simply can’t help but own a little diamond ring or a set of diamond earrings. They will even wear fake versions of them just because they look so lovely.
The wearing of earrings has been around for a long time throughout different cultures in history. Today, they are still worn in different tribes as signs of beauty and have different significances all over the world. For the most part, in the western world they are used as fashion accessories and come primarily in metals like silver and gold. Finally, another reason that they are considered so precious is not only because of how they look, but what the represent. Diamond earrings are given as gits on very special occasions such as anniversaries, and are designed as the perfect way to say ‘i love you’. So as you walk through that party wearing them everyone will know that there is a man out there in love with you. And that is the most precious thing of all.
